ABOUT ME I am a self-taught fragrance maker who has been exploring the art of perfumery for the past 2–3 years, alongside various perfumery courses and continuous independent study. My learning has also been guided by the work of Sam Macer, a UK-based perfumer and educator, through his perfumery curriculum and educational materials. What began as a genuine curiosity about fragrance gradually developed into a deeper interest in fragrance composition, raw materials, accords, and the creative process behind scent creation. As the founder and fragrance maker of Gerimist, an independent artisan perfume house, I develop fragrances in small batches, focusing on simplicity, subtlety, and storytelling. Each creation is inspired by everyday moments, memories, places, and emotions, translated into distinctive fragrance compositions. Beyond creating perfumes, I continuously experiment with different fragrance materials and formulations, learning through hands-on practice while developing my own creative approach to fragrance making. I have created and developed a growing collection of original fragrances, including Fragrant Rice, Origami, Kumquat, Bengkoang, Neera, and other experimental compositions. In 2025, I was honored to become one of the finalists in the Asia Perfume Award, receiving recognition in the Emerging Perfumer Award category. This experience encouraged me to continue developing my craft, exploring new olfactory ideas, and growing Gerimist as a platform for expressing my perspective through fragrance. For me, fragrance making is both a craft and a form of storytelling—an ongoing process of learning, experimenting, and translating intangible memories and emotions into scent.

ABOUT GERIMIST Gerimist is an artisan perfume house inspired by the beauty of everyday simplicity. The name Gerimist comes from “gerimis,” the Indonesian word for a light drizzle—a gentle rain that arrives quietly, without asking for attention. It reflects the spirit behind our fragrances: soft, subtle, and intimate. Every fragrance is handcrafted in small batches, allowing us to focus on quality, creativity, and the character of each composition. We take our time with every formula, creating scents that feel honest, personal, and thoughtfully made. Our fragrances embrace a softer and more intimate style. Rather than demanding attention, they stay close to the wearer, unfolding gently throughout the day. We believe a perfume doesn't need to be loud to be memorable. Created by an introvert, for introverts, Gerimist celebrates quiet moments and simple living. We find inspiration in the ordinary, transforming familiar feelings into fragrances that evoke comfort, nostalgia, and calm. In a world that often values more, Gerimist chooses less—less noise, less excess, and more meaning.
